Why Oslo?

Oslo - The Tiger City

Oslo is Norway's capital and economic hub, boasts scenic beauty with its fjords, islands, and forested hills, alongside iconic landmarks like the Royal Palace and modern architectural marvels such as the Opera House and the Edvard Munch Museum.

The tiger statue in front of Oslo Central Station, a 4.5-meter bronze sculpture, is one of the city's most photographed landmarks and a symbolic gift presented during Oslo's millennium celebration. It represents Oslo's nickname, "The Tiger City," derived from a poem by Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, portraying the city's dynamism rather than its danger.
